Instructions for use
For therapy, various forms of the Ketanov medication are used. What determines the dosage and treatment regimen? Intramuscularly, the drug begins to be administered with a dose of 10 mg, then, if necessary, they switch to a volume of 30 mg, which is used every 4 hours. The maximum daily amount of funds should not exceed 90 mg, for the elderly - 60 mg. Injections can not be used for more than two days.

If necessary, patients are transferred to the intake of Ketanov tablets. The dosage (daily limit) of this form of the drug is the same as the injection. Tablets must be taken 1 piece after 4-6 hours. The duration of therapy should not exceed one week. People weighing less than 50 kg, patients older than 65 years, as well as patients suffering from renal pathology, should take the medicine in a reduced dose. The ointment is required to be applied several times a day to painful areas in an amount not exceeding the daily volume. For toothache, take 1 pill. After six hours, another tablet is acceptable.
Side effects and contraindications
In some cases, negative reactions may occur after using the Ketanov medication. So, a medication can provoke nausea, diarrhea, headache, drowsiness, sweating, dyspepsia, asthenia, palpitations, dry mouth, nervousness, dizziness, myalgia, hyperkinesia. It is forbidden to take medicine for nasal polyplosis, bronchial asthma, bleeding disorders, dehydration, hypovolemia, stomach and intestinal ulcers.
