Biography and career
Nikolai Grigoryevich Filatov was born in 1959. He studied at the Kursk State Medical Institute, which he graduated in 1983. A passion for writing woke up in him quite early - the author created his first poetic works at the age of eleven. Since then, Nikolai G. did not stop writing, becoming a professional poet.
Filatov’s creative biography began with publications in local periodicals, and soon his works began to appear regularly on the pages of the central press. And in the late 80s - in the early 90s, the works of Nikolai Grigorievich were published abroad.
The bibliography of the poet has 7 authorial poetry collections. The first print publication dates back to 1993 - it is a collection of "A star is burning above the mother's field." A year later, the book “Recognition” was published, and with an interval of two years it was followed by the collections “The Bitterness of Forest Fire” and “The Ring of Life”. In 2003, the first electronic collection appeared with the lyric title "The Time of Our Hopes ... The Time of Our Losses ...". In the same year, the song collection “I give you freedom” saw the light of day.
The author actively collaborates with childcare facilities, schools and libraries, and is involved in charity work. Over 3.5 thousand copies of his own books, he donated to various organizations.
Over 100 author texts were put to music. One of the songs was presented at the international contest "Festos-2002", where it was performed by a student at Belgorod State University.
Nikolay Filatov is not limited only to poetry, he actively collaborates with the media, speaks on radio and television, and also organizes meetings with readers, takes part in creative and literary competitions as a member of the jury. In addition, Nikolai Grigorievich is developing his own production center.
Production activities
In the life of the poet Nikolai Filatov, 2003 was a very productive year. In August, he founded his own production center. Nikolay Filatov devotes a huge amount of time not only to poetry, but also to the search for talented performers and composers.
Two discs of copyright songs were recorded and released. More than 120 musical compositions have been created to the verses of Nikolay Filatov. The lion's share of these works has become hits, among which are the following:

The author’s poetry collection “This World of Miracles” is small in volume - it includes poems created from 2005 to 2009.

The collection is a kind of creative experiment, since the texts included in it have a satirical bias with a touch of irony and sarcasm, which is generally not characteristic of the poet's work.

The story behind this book is quite curious. Once, Nikolai Grigoryevich spoke at the children's library, and after the readings, the director of the library invited the poet to write poetry for his grandson. The author was so inspired by this idea that he created a whole collection addressed to very young readers aged three to seven years.
