Andrei Tolubeev was born in the family of already quite famous actors - Yuri Tolubeev and Tamara Aleshina - in 1945, March 30. His parents were both artists of the Leningrad Drama Theater . Pushkin.
Andrei Yuryevichâs mother at the time of his birth was a rather popular film actress, especially after the film âHeavenly Squeegeeâ, famous for his song âFirst Airplanes,â which is now often shown on television. Father - in the future one of the famous Soviet theater workers - also by the time of the birth of his son starred in several iconic films, such as âThe Man with the Gunâ, âThe Return of Maximâ, âMinersâ and some others.
Obedient son
Parents were familiar with the difficulties of the profession and the dependence of the actor on the director or art director of the temple of art. So, the great Yuri Tolubeyev left the theater because of Igor Gorbachev, who was the main director of Alexandrinka, left full of creative powers, then he fell ill due to lack of demand and died prematurely. He never forgave Igor Gorbachev, forbidding his relatives to let him near his coffin.
And even at the peak of popularity, Yuri Vladimirovich always remembered the flip side of this profession. Having divorced his wife, he never left his only son Andrei unattended. It was he who insisted that Andrei Tolubeyev not follow in the footsteps of his father and mother, and there were plenty of examples when children, even gifted ones, could not get out of the shadow of their illustrious parents.
Promising doctor
Maybe the authority of his father was too great or Andrei himself did not believe in his theatrical gift, but after school he in 1963 became a student at the Faculty for the Training of Aviation and Space Doctors of the Naval Aviation Academy named after Kirov. And this was not the only specialty that Andrei Tolubeev received at the Naval Academy. After working as a doctor in one of the military units, he returned to alma mater and graduated from psychophysiology courses.
A logical turn in fate
In 1969, a qualified military doctor decides to become an artist. This is not a completely unexpected turn in fate. While studying at the Academy, Andrei Tolubeev was inextricably linked with the student theater.
He managed the role, and his childhood spent behind the scenes of Alexandrinka reminded of himself. Having left the army in 1973, A. Yu. Tolubeyev entered the LGITMiK just on the course of Igor Olegovich Gorbachev, which as a teacher never spoke without respect. But he did not go to the theater after graduating from the institute in 1975.
Favorite Theater
Andrei Tolubeyev (actor) associated his fate for 33 years, until the last days, with the BDT. Not immediately, but gradually he turned into one of the leading actors of the troupe, and in the cinema became more and more recognizable. And to do this was not at all easy in the theater, where on the Olympus there were such bisons as Efim Kopelyan, Vladislav Strzhelchik, Olga Volkova, Grigory Gai, and later Alice Freindlich also came there. To prove to these great masters that you deserve your surname was quite difficult. Nevertheless, Andrei Yuryevich took the rightful place for him by God. He not only came out of the shadow of his parents, he is the one who worthily continued the dynasty.
Heavy 80s
In the theater, the actor played more than 50 roles, he acted in films in more than 70 films. Andrei Tolubeev, whose filmography began in the distant 1960 with the filming of the episode of the film âAhead - Abrupt Turnâ, did not at all think that someday the list of paintings in which he would take part would exceed 70. When since 1974 (the picture âYou can still have timeâ) the actor began to act in a systematic way, he had difficulties, but mainly because the whole country had problems and the films were staged that didnât represent anything, did not pretend to be anything, they were quickly forgotten.
Nevertheless, the actor since 1981 starred in several films for the year. There were such worthy tapes as âAdam's Ribâ with an excellent cast, âCriminal Talentâ, âTears Trickledâ, âKill the Dragonâ, in which Andrei Tolubeev was remembered by the audience and stood out even against the background of the stars.
From popularity to recognition
Then came the Leningrad projects, such as "Agent of National Security", "Gangster Petersburg", "Cops". Already not just popular, but his favorite actor Andrei Tolubeyev, whose films will take more than one page to list, in 2006, for the role of Valentin Grinev in the film âCaptain's Childrenâ, he receives a golden statuette âTaffyâ for the best male role. In the same year, the artist was awarded another prestigious award - "Golden Spotlights" he receives for his supporting role in the play "Mary Stuart".

Andrei Tolubeyev, whose biography would not have been complete without mentioning his literary work, all the same in 2006 was awarded the literary prize "Petropol" for the book "Filling the Moon." He also penned several plays and the novel âFalling Out of the Nest,â written in memory of Vladislav Strzhelchik. The novel was released after the death of Andrei Yurievich. But 2004 was no less generous for awards. This year, the actor, public figure and writer was awarded the Prize of the Federation Council of Russia âPublic Recognitionâ, the prize âPerson of the Yearâ, the title of Knight of the Order of Friendship.
Treasured like the apple of an eye
Andrei Yurievich Tolubeyev was an incredibly charming and witty person - there are people who always feel their presence, and leaving is not possible to replace. He was appreciated in the theater, his mother, wife, and daughters loved him. His mother adored him madly, many of Andreiâs friends and wives, in her opinion, were not worthy of him, and the women soon left their house. But the family with her liking Ekaterina Marusyak mom protected by all means. In this happy and long marriage, A. Yu. Tolubeev had two daughters.
Family of talented actors
Elizabeth, like her father, did not immediately become an actress - she graduated from the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in St. Petersburg, defended her thesis. In addition, she is the absolute world champion in taekwondo. All this inspires respect. And then, like her father, she entered the theater university - SPbGATI, which she graduated in 2011. She starred in several films, plays in the performances of the Theater on Vasilyevsky Island. The youngest daughter Nadia immediately followed in the footsteps of her parents and grandparents - she graduated from the same St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts in the same year as her older sister, but they studied at different workshops. A charming girl acts in films and is an actress of the Etude Theater. Their mother, Ekaterina Marusyak, a very beautiful woman, also successfully starred in TV shows. For example, in such as "Mom, I love a killer", "Last meeting", "Foundry" and others.
Illness and death
Of course, a close-knit family was very upset by the illness of her beloved father. Andrei Tolubeyev (the cause of death is pancreatic cancer) believed that a serious illness was laid in his DNA, because his father died of cancer. The money needed for treatment in an Israeli clinic by the theater community was collected immediately, but neither Ikhilovâs specialists helped Alexander Abdulov or Andrei Tolubeyev. He passed away very early. As Ivan Krasko said: â63 years old - is that age!â
Andrei Tolubeyev could still do a lot as an actor, and as a writer, and as a public figure. Since 1999, he served as chairman of the board of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation. According to the testimony of the same I. Krasko, if he undertook to help someone, he went all the way. This wonderful person died on April 7, 2008. His grave is located next to the grave of his father and Vladislav Strzhelchik, on the âLiterary bridgesâ of the Volkovsky cemetery in St. Petersburg.
