Royal salmon - a delicious recipe for a true gourmet

For the first time, I had a chance to taste salmon royally in one of the popular Nizhny Novgorod restaurants. The menu included the ingredients of the dish: salmon, red caviar, lemon, olives. His taste impressed me so much that barely reaching home, I rushed to the computer in order to find the recipe for salmon in a royal way. I admit, the result surprised me, as there were a lot of dishes with that name. However, it is just possible to understand. The phrase "royally" sounds tempting. Call it at least a cutlet - you still want to try. More intrigued by the fact that with the name "royal salmon" not only second courses were found, but also salads, cold snacks. I tried several recipes, replacing some of the ingredients.

King salmon with shrimp and cheese

In the recipe it was suggested to take two salmon fillets weighing about 1.5 kg, 300 g king prawns, 250 g soft cream cheese “California” or similar, leek, 2 limes, watercress, extragon, olive oil, ground pepper, sea salt.

King prawns replaced with cocktail, lime with ordinary lemon (by the way, it is served with fish). The role of soft cheese was perfectly handled by the melted "Hohland" in a tray (just 250 g). Onions, leeks can also be easily replaced with ordinary onions, the taste of the dish from this does not spoil at all. I used thyme instead of an extragon. It is known that the taste of fish sets off better.

It took me an hour and a half to prepare the meal, if you did not take into account the time for defrosting.

To start, wash the shrimp and boil for about 2 to 3 minutes, if necessary, clear of the shell.

Wash the fillet and let it dry. Excess humidity in our business is useless.

Watercress - salad and thyme finely chopped, chop the onion. Put the cheese in the microwave for 30 - 40 seconds, so that it becomes softer. Add greens, onions, shrimp to it. Pepper, salt and gently mix the cheese mass. We spread one filet on a baking sheet, previously covered with baking paper, carefully cover it with another filet and tighten the halves with twine.

We start baking at 180 degrees, after about twenty minutes we reduce the fire and bring the dish to readiness. It takes about half an hour. After our fish is well browned, turn off the oven, open it a little and let the dish stand for another fifteen minutes. Before serving, do not forget to remove the fastening ropes and decorate the salmon with lemon slices and herbs.

Royal salmon. Salad recipe

The components of this salad are somewhat similar to the previous dish, which is obviously why they were given the same name. However, the point is not in the sonorous name, but in the refined taste. Try it yourself, I think, you will also agree that such a salad is quite a royal table worthy.

Of the products we will need avocado fruit, packaging of salted salmon, boiled shrimps, peeled 500 g, a spoonful of red caviar and mayonnaise for dressing.
Cut avocado and salmon into small cubes, mix with shrimp and caviar, season with mayonnaise. Salt does not need to be added, it is already enough here, and a little pepper and lemon juice will not hurt.

Royal salmon

In search of the recipe, “royal salmon” accidentally stumbled upon a description of this dish and decided to cook it, since the fish was in the refrigerator. True, not salmon, but salmon, but with ingredients such as champignons and olives, even pollock will turn out to be very tasty.

To prepare our royal dish, you need steaks of salmon (salmon), per 1 piece per serving. Hard-skinned tomatoes, medium size, a pair of pieces will be enough. Pitted olives or olives can be stuffed with lemon and capers. Champignons - a package weighing 250 grams. You will also need onions (which one to choose, onion or leek, a matter of taste), hard cheese (200 g piece) and mayonnaise.

Cut mushroom caps into small slices, chop the onion and fry everything together in a pan for about five to seven minutes.

Cooking steaks: wash, dry, pepper, salt. Lay on a baking sheet, pre-oiled. On top of the steaks, spread the mushrooms and onions. Grate cheese, mix with mayonnaise, put on top of mushrooms. We cut the tomatoes and olives into rings, put the top layer on the steak and send all this splendor to the oven for an hour and a half. Serve with green salad and lemon slices.

If you want the dish to be more satisfying, you can safely make the first layer of potatoes, this will not harm the taste of the fish.
