Pork steak

It is difficult to imagine a dish that would be so beloved by almost everyone and would suit any kind of side dishes. Pork steak is a really tasty and aromatic treat. There are countless recipes for this dish. Below are two simple recipes by which even an inexperienced novice can cook pork steak. To prepare this dish, the meat should not be cut too thin, because this way it will not turn out succulent enough. To make the steaks very tasty, the best way to cook them is fresh pork, which was not subjected to long-term storage, and even more so freezing.

Steak with lemon.

For cooking, you will need the following ingredients:

- pork - about 800 g;

- medium tomatoes - 4 pcs.;

- one lemon;

- 2 cloves of garlic;

- olive oil - 25 ml;

- dry oregano - 1 teaspoon;

- table salt, black ground pepper.

Pork steak is best made from loin, rump or neck. Such meat turns out to be the most tender and unusually juicy. Of course, you can buy already chopped steaks in the store, but you can also make them yourself from a fresh product. When slicing portions, try cutting the meat across the muscle fibers. The standard thickness of the treat is 3-4 cm.

The cooking process begins with the marinade. Lemon peel is rubbed on a grater , and juice is squeezed out of it itself. In an enameled bowl mix juice, zest, oregano, chopped garlic, olive oil, pepper, salt. Sliced ​​pork steaks are placed in a prepared marinade for several minutes, turning them several times so that they are evenly soaked in them. Prepared meat is laid out on a wire rack located in a frying pan, which is placed on a strong fire and the product is fried on both sides for 12 minutes. After the first inversion, the surface of the treat is smeared with the remaining marinade.

Fried meat is cooked at 150 Β° C in the oven. Ready steaks are spread on a large dish, after which they are left to stand for 10 minutes.

On the fat, which remained after frying the meat, the tomatoes cut into two halves are fried. Before serving the delicacy to the table, it is first finely chopped. From above, the dish is poured with juice left in the pan, and made out with greens and fried tomatoes.

Beer steaks

Essential Ingredients:

- pork steak - 2 pcs. (200g each);

- onion - 1 pc.;

- canned or boiled carrots - 100g;

- fresh thyme - 2 branches;

- butter - 50g;

- boiled potatoes ("in uniform") - 4 pcs.;

- sugar - 25 g;

- meat broth - 100 ml;

- dry mustard - 0.5 tsp;

- beer - 100 ml;

- black and red pepper , salt;

- vegetable oil.

Cooking method:

1. Washed and dried meat is slightly beaten (under cling film). Steaks are rubbed with pepper and salt.

2. Sauce preparation:

The onion is chopped and fried over moderate heat for 5-6 minutes. (to a state of softness). It is sprinkled with sugar and, constantly stirring, roasted until golden. Beer and broth are poured into the pan, seasoned with pepper, mustard and salt. The sauce should be boiled exactly half. You need to constantly stir it so that it does not burn.

3. Pork steak is fried in vegetable oil for 2 minutes on both sides. The meat is laid out in a form pre-oiled, and poured with hot sauce. In the oven heated to 180 Β° C, the product is brought to readiness (15 minutes).

4. Boiled potatoes are cut into cubes and fried in oil until golden. Add chopped canned or boiled carrots to the potatoes and fry them all 3 minutes, then pour the sauce and keep it on fire for 2 minutes.

5. Garnish on a serving plate, and pork steak on top. The dish is watered with previously prepared sauce and garnished with sprigs of thyme.
