Muscle-tonic syndrome. Reasons for the appearance and methods of treatment

Often in the process of life, people begin to suffer from pain in the back, arms or legs. The cause of such pain can be a reflex muscle spasm, which in medicine is called the muscle-tonic syndrome.

In our turbulent age, almost every person suffers from this disease and, in most cases, this can be due to a sedentary lifestyle, poor nutrition and objective environment.

Such reflexes occur due to a long and fairly persistent muscle tension. At the moments of such stresses in the muscles, seals begin to form, called trigger points. These seals are quite painful. The muscle begins to gradually become shorter and tend to become denser. If you press your finger on such a trigger point, then you can cause muscle-tonic syndrome, which manifests itself as pain. Typically, such pains begin to spread to large areas of the body and limbs.

The following factors can lead to the occurrence of such pain:

- Generic or acquired in the process of life injuries, as well as some types of diseases. In some cases, such a syndrome can develop at the time of a sharp increase in weight.

- Strong and lasting muscle tension. This is usually true in cases where a person has been in the same position for a long time. At such moments, muscle cells, in some way, get used to a fixed and uniform position. Therefore, if you do not periodically change your posture and relax tense muscle groups, this can lead to the fact that the tension in them will remain for a long time.

- Stresses of an emotional nature. At such moments, the human body begins to mobilize, therefore, the digestion process stops, and muscle tone, on the contrary, increases. However, depending on the severity of stress, it is not always possible to return to the initial relaxation of the body, therefore, such a muscle-tonic syndrome begins to smoothly turn into a chronic form.

Muscle-tonic syndrome can have rather unpleasant consequences for the body. For example, if it lasts for a long time, blood circulation in the tense muscles and organs adjacent to them is disturbed. In addition, the function of the โ€œclampedโ€ muscle begins to be disrupted, and it can no longer fully fulfill the โ€œdutiesโ€ assigned to it. Often in the process of this disease, the mental state of a person suffers.

But what about the treatment? Muscle-tonic syndrome, fortunately, is cured. As a rule, the main methods of treating muscle spasm include:

- elimination of those reasons that caused the appearance of spasms.

- direct removal of such stresses through massage or using drugs.

- The mandatory use of therapeutic and prophylactic gymnastic complex, as well as physiotherapy.

In addition to this disease, muscle dystonia syndrome is sometimes found in children and adults . Sad, of course, but for now the etiology of this disease has not been thoroughly studied. However, it is known that even transmission of this disease by inheritance takes place.

The main syndrome of this disease includes hyperkinesis, as well as various rotational and exciting movements. In this case, the head of a person can either tilt back or turn strongly to the side. And his whole body begins to take a slightly unnatural position. Moreover, a sick person sometimes does not go directly, but sideways, because it is more convenient for him. During sleep, hyperkinesis begins to decline. Despite the difficulties of treating such a disease, in some cases it is possible to completely overcome the disease, after which even people with disabilities can return to full work.
