The biography of Al Pacino - one of the best actors of our time - is full of surprises and surprises. It would seem that nothing foreshadowed their gaining such glory.
Alfredo Pacino was born in New York in 1940, April 25th. His parents, Rose and Salvatore Pacino, divorced when the child was only two years old. The kid stayed with his mother and grandmother. The family lived in a poor area of the city near the Bronx. Little Alfredo was brought up strictly, especially for his grandmother, who did not allow a child under seven to play with children and go out without her or her mother. But even then, his talent as an actor was awakening: after going to the cinema, he beat the scenes he liked for homework, fantasized, invented friends for himself, in general, lived in his own, rather closed world. Creativity was noticed quite quickly at school, and the boy was entrusted not only to read the Bible during services, but also to play in the school theater.

Al Pacino's biography was largely determined at the age of 14, when he happened to visit the theater at the production of Chekhov's The Seagull in the South Bronx. He was so amazed at what he saw that he decided to transfer to the School of Performing Arts. Unfortunately, he did not succeed because of not the most brilliant performance, so at the age of 17 he abandoned his studies and went to work. Postman, courier, other minor works - Al Pacino, a truly genius actor, could not drown in this swamp and not bury his talent. He takes acting lessons, and also tries to play in small theatrical productions. When he managed to accumulate a sufficient amount, he entered the acting studio of Charlie Lofton, performed in theaters, and after a while made his way to Lee Strasberg's school (a famous institution that educated actors in the spirit of the Stanislavsky system).
Further, the biography of Al Pacino captures more and more: his performances in theaters were so successful that he was named the best actor in 67-68. and received a special Obi award from critics. A little later, he managed to conquer the Broadway stage, having won the rather prestigious Tony Theater Award. Well, then there was a movie. The pictures “I, Natalie” and “Panic in Needle Park” were the debut, followed by a brilliant game in “The Godfather”. The director Frank Coppola was initially scolded by producers for such a strange choice of actor, they did not believe that Pacino was suitable for this role. However, it gradually became clear that the great director was not mistaken: it was impossible to imagine the best Michael Corleone! This role turned him into a movie legend.
In the 90s, the biography of Al Pacino talks about the difficulties that the actor had to face. He hardly found suitable roles, tried himself in a variety of genres - from farce to melodrama. And then came a resounding success for his role in The Smell of a Woman and the well-deserved Oscar. Around the same time, Pacino's debut as a director took place (the film “Finding Richard”). Since then, he not only plays a lot in cinema and theater, but also makes his films.
Al Pacino, whose biography betrays a completely outstanding personality, does not suffer, however, a star disease inherent in many celebrities. He does not like fame at all and considers it an unnatural and unnecessary application to his activities. His personal life was and remains under the heading "secret": he does not apply to such topics. It is known that Al is still not married, although he has a daughter from Yana Taranto and twins (son and daughter) from Beverly D'Angelo.
