Recipes of all kinds of hors d'oeuvre snacks are likely to be found in the arsenal of every housewife. Such dishes will not only help diversify the festive table, but will also help out during an unexpected visit. The list of the simplest dishes includes pita rolls.
Lavash with chicken and mushrooms
As a basis for the filling, you can take chicken and mushrooms. This classic combination of products makes the appetizer hearty and enjoyable. By changing the ingredients of the filling and adding new products to it, you can always get a completely new dish.
Do not be afraid to experiment - as additional components, you can use different varieties of cheese, onions, herbs, vegetables, smoked meats.
Mushroom roll with chicken and pickled onions
This pita bread roll with chicken and mushrooms can become one of the most beloved and not only for the speed of cooking, but also for excellent taste and satiety.
Products for it will require a minimum:
- 1 whole sheet of pita bread;
- 200 g chicken;
- about 300 g of canned or fresh champignons (if desired, you can take any other type);
- 1 small or half medium bulb;
- about 100 g of mayonnaise;
- a small pinch of salt.
If desired, onions can be pre-marinated. To do this, take:
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar;
- 1 tbsp. tablespoon of vinegar.
Fresh mushrooms are peeled, washed and finely chopped. They should be fried until tender with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil. There you can chop a little onion.
Boil chicken in slightly salted water until tender. The meat is cooled and divided into small pieces by fiber.
Onion finely chopped. It can be used in this form or pickled in vinegar with sugar. To do this, mix the ingredients of the marinade, add to the chopped onion and leave for 15-20 minutes. When marinating, bitterness and harsh taste are eliminated. After that, the remaining liquid is drained.
In the process of assembling the roll, you can lay out the filling in any order (mushrooms with onions, chicken, onions, mayonnaise). Lavash is rolled and cut into small portions. The appetizer can be served in this form or pre-fried slices on several sides.
Advice! To make the pita bread soft and not break, the first should be applied mayonnaise for impregnation.
With mushrooms, chicken and cream cheese
To make pita bread with mushrooms, chicken and processed cheese, you will need very little time and effort.
In the product list:
- two pita bread thin;
- fresh champignons - about 250 g;
- chicken - 250 g (fillet);
- processed cheese - 200 g;
- 1 onion is small;
- a bunch of greens (parsley);
- vegetable oil (used for frying);
- ground black pepper and salt - a small pinch.
Mushrooms and chicken meat are washed, dried and cut into small pieces. Peel and cut the onion into small cubes.
In a pan, heat a little vegetable oil (any) and send onions into it. Fry until the product becomes transparent. Chicken meat is added to the pan with onions, and after it turns white, mushrooms are added there. All together fry over medium heat for another 10 minutes. 1-2 minutes before the end of cooking, finely chopped parsley, a pinch of salt and pepper are added to the main products. Cool down.
Processed cheese and then meat filling are evenly distributed on unfolded pita bread. Lavash rolled into a roll is left for 3-4 hours in the refrigerator, after which it is cut into pieces and served.
Lavash Pie
Anyone who loves baking will definitely appreciate this easy-to-cook, but very tasty pita pie with chicken and mushrooms.
What is required for cooking:
- chicken fillet (it is better to take breast) - 500 g;
- champignons (can be replaced with other mushrooms) - 500 g;
- onion - 2 medium heads;
- tomatoes are quite ripe - 2 or 3 pieces (depending on size);
- any hard cheese - about 50 g;
- greens (dill, parsley);
- vegetable oil - a little (required for frying);
- salt pepper.
To grease a sheet of pita bread:
- garlic up to 5-6 cloves (the amount depends on individual preferences);
- sour cream - 150-200 g.
It will also be necessary to fill the pie from:
- 3 chicken eggs;
- 150 g of hard cheese;
- 300 g of cream or milk.
First, prepare the filling. To do this, peel the onion, cut into small cubes and fry in vegetable oil until a light golden hue. Mushrooms are washed, dried with a napkin, cut and sent to a pan with onions. After 5-7 minutes, washed and finely chopped chicken breast is added to the mushrooms. A few minutes later, tomatoes are cut into the same place. All ingredients are quenched until the liquid evaporates in half. 1-2 minutes before the shutdown, add pepper, herbs and salt, mix and cool the filling.
The next step is preparing the fill for the cake. Eggs, cream and grated cheese are mixed in a separate bowl.
The expanded sheet of pita bread is greased with a mixture of sour cream and garlic, passed through a press. Evenly spread chicken and mushrooms on pita bread and roll it up with a dense roll. Do the same with all the other sheets of pita bread, after which they are laid out (one to the other) in a greased form. From above, everything is poured with egg filling and sent to a preheated oven (200 degrees) for 35â40 minutes.
