Prepare the products: a glass of sugar, 1 egg, a bag of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of soda, 200 g of margarine, flour 3 cups and a couple of teaspoons of cocoa.
Cooking: beat the egg with sugar almost to the consistency of meringue, mix a slightly softened margarine with this mixture. Cocoa, flour and baking powder are added to this mixture. Put the soda, slaked with vinegar. Carefully knead a very cool dough. We spread the dough in a meat grinder and scroll cookies. And you can roll it on the table and cut unusual shapes.
In an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake our homemade cookies until golden brown.
If you want to surprise your family, you can make delicious and unusual custard cookies for them. The recipe is extremely simple. It will take you an hour and a half to cook.
Choux Cookies
Required Products:
For the test: 100 ml. water, 50 g butter, 1 tsp salt, 150 g flour, some walnuts, 3 eggs.
For glaze: half a bar of chocolate, 1 tbsp. butter, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp cognac (cognac tincture will also go).
Put salt and butter in water and bring to a boil. Pour the flour, turn off the tile and, quickly mixing, start the basis for our custard dough. When the whole mass becomes homogeneous, and a thin film of flour appears at the bottom of the pan, the dough will be considered ready, βbrewedβ.
We set it to cool, and at this time we clean and chop walnuts. To remove the skins that give the nuts bitterness and an ugly bluish tint to the dough, and even burn them during baking, pour the nuts for five to ten minutes with boiling water, and then, when they cool, poke the skin of each with a knife in its thickest place (where they are connected both halves of a walnut) and clean all nuts in this way.
Add the eggs one at a time to the brewed dough, constantly kneading it. As soon as we put the last egg, add chopped walnuts and mix again.
Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and grease with vegetable oil. From the culinary bag, the confectionery syringe, squeeze the dough a little on a sheet (a little larger than a walnut). If you donβt have a bag or a syringe, transfer the dough into a tight plastic bag, cut one corner and put it through it.
For about half an hour, bake cookies in a well-heated oven. The dough should not only brown, but also dry a little, so you can switch the oven to a temperature of 70 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes.
Next, prepare the chocolate icing. To do this, mix and melt in a water bath butter, chocolate, cognac or tincture (it is needed for a pleasant aroma) and sugar. As soon as the mixture boils, immediately remove it from the water bath.
We put the finished custard homemade one little thing on a toothpick and dip it in chocolate icing.
We cover the plate with cling film so that the pastries do not stick, and put the chocolate cookies on it, put them away in the refrigerator for about an hour and a half.
