The Russian series "Lord Comrades" pays special attention to the royal detective. Few people remember the existence of this unit, but shortly before the events taking place in the story, it was eliminated. And given that the criminal investigation department of Moscow could not cope with a large flow of crimes, it was decided that the best ex-detective officers would connect to it. These were the experienced investigator-nobleman Nikolai and the retired Bolshevik sailor Peter. They have to not only learn to work together, but also to repay the mutual hatred that arose due to class discrepancy.
A feature of the series was the involvement of not only fictional characters, but also the embodiment of real-life personalities. So, Lenin himself, the raider Yakov Koshelkov, the princes Dadiani and Meshchersky appear in the film.
Bet on success
The premiere took place on February 16, 2015. The successful on-air start was reinforced by the first reviews of the audience, who warmly received the pilot episodes of the series “Lord Comrades”. How many episodes awaited them yet? The show ended on February 26 of that year. In total, “Lord Comrades” includes eight episodes, each of which is divided into two parts.
The series had every chance to turn into a detective crime story. She is an educated intelligent girl who is financially wealthy and constantly feels the strong shoulder of her brother Nikolai. What attracted her to Peter? It is difficult to explain the luminous feeling of an aristocrat towards a person who has nothing for his soul, devoid of charisma and male rod.

After the series ended, it's time to take stock. What was especially memorable? Where did the authors make unforgivable mistakes? What conquered the audience with the series “Lord Comrades”?
Reviews of those who have not missed a single series, for the most part give the film the highest scores and award meritorious epithets. The initial episodes add a little boredom to the smooth narration, but then the plot quickly picks up speed. The inaccuracies that often occur in the production of historical paintings turned out to be so small and insignificant that in general this did not at all worsen the overall impression.
The Russian series “Gentlemen-comrades” allowed once again to demonstrate and evaluate the talent of many actors whose play was at their best. Among those stands out Julia Galkina. The image of the lead investigator was given to Alexander Domogarov. Domestic cinema boasts a number of successful films with his participation. He is not only a star of theater and cinema, but also a national artist, and an amateur chansonnier, as his most devoted fans know.
With the graduation of the Shchepkinsky College in 1984, the actor slowly but surely conquers the screens, not forgetting the theatrical stage. The adventure film “Midshipmen-3” brought popularity. In more modern times, Domogarov was remembered for “The Countess de Monsoro,” “Gangster Petersburg,” “The Turkish March”. The actor is known not only in Russia. The 1999 historical film by the Polish director Jerzy Hoffmann “Fire and Sword” was the first world-wide picture in which Domogarov played.
“Gentlemen-comrades” - a picture in which Elizabeth Nilova took part, playing the role of the sister of the protagonist - Anna. Nilov, a native of Leningrad, is primarily known for being the daughter of Alexei Nilov, a friend from the “Streets of Broken Lights”. Elizabeth graduated from the Academy of St. Petersburg, currently plays in the Komissarzhevskaya Theater, and for filming in the paintings she often moves to Moscow. Among the famous works of the girl are the films “18-14”, “Retribution”, “Mayakovsky”. In 2014, she was approved for the main role in the project "Lord Comrades."
The actors of the series are also represented by Vyacheslav Krikunov, who became the screen partner of Elizabeth. Vyacheslav was born in 1983 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. In 2008, he moved to Moscow. One of the leading Russian actors is constantly in the spotlight. According to the audience, Domogarov holds the whole series of “Lord Comrades” with his game. Criticism, however, suggests otherwise. Filming in a huge number of "passing" roles, the actor simply ran out of steam. This is evidenced by visible fatigue in individual scenes. The role of a serious man performing important state tasks seems ridiculous, despite all the charisma and “visibility” that Domogarov managed to earn for all his creative activity. It seems that the old roles are remembered now as the most successful.

“Gentlemen-comrades” tells with particular detail about the conduct of investigations, which is often reflected in the conversations of the main characters Nicholas and Peter. In this, viewers saw additional interest. The creators managed to convey the atmosphere of the last century, not forgetting the little things: appearance, deeds, conversations. An unobtrusive plot and fast dynamics allow you to keep the audience's attention, which ultimately leads to obvious success. Throughout the paintings shown in 2015, one of the leading places is rightfully occupied by “Lord Comrades”. Season 2 as its logical and entirely possible continuation remains the main desire of those who became a fan of the picture.
