Persen forte: instructions for use

The drug "Persen" - a drug that is made on the basis of plant extracts with a calming effect.

It contains dry extracts of herbs such as valerian, lemon balm and mint. So, the valerian extract reduces the stress state of a person, calms, eliminates the feeling of anxiety, improves mood. Valerian is not dangerous for active people, as well as for those who are driving. Helping with insomnia, it does not cause drowsiness or loss of strength in the daytime. The extract of lemon mint (the so-called melissa) can have a relaxing, spasmalgic effect on the human body. Peppermint also increases appetite and also soothes.

Persen, the annotation to which is attached, is available in tablets, the so-called Persen, and also in capsules, Persen forte. The dose of the main components (valerian, peppermint and lemon balm) in them is almost the same. 100 mg tablets contain 50 mg of valerian, and 25 mg each of extracts of lemon balm and mint. A slightly larger dose of valerian in a capsule formulation is 125 mg, while peppermint and lemon balm are 25 mg each.

"Persen forte": instructions for use

The drug contains neither alcohol, nor bromine, nor sugar, so the range of people who can use it is expanding significantly. It can be both adults and children over 12 years old. Sometimes it is acceptable to use the drug in small doses for children from three years old. Lack of sugar permits Persen forte to people with diabetes.

Adults are recommended to use the drug three times a day, three tablets or the same amount once in two capsules. If adults and older children have prolonged insomnia before going to bed, you can take three tablets or two capsules of Persen-forte.

Giving children up to three years old "Perse forte", the instructions for use of which is attached, are contraindicated.

The duration of use of the drug is determined and controlled by a doctor, but its continuous use is allowed for more than 1.5 months. This suggests that the drug is not addictive. The drug helps to avoid unwanted symptoms during the withdrawal of tranquilizers and antidepressants, for which a special flexible scheme of psychotropic therapy has been created.

- a neurotic condition, which is accompanied by overexcitation, insomnia, fatigue, anxiety;

- the abolition of strong sedative drugs;

- to prevent psychosomatic disorders, as a prophylactic against stress.

There are a number of contraindications to the use of Persen forte, the instructions for use of which inform. This drug is contraindicated in people who:

- have an allergic reaction to the components of the drug;

- have not reached the age of three;

- women during the period of gestation and breastfeeding of the child. In some cases, the doctor may prescribe this drug to a woman if the benefits of using it are much higher than the risk to the child.

Persen has some side effects. So in the case of prolonged use of the drug, constipation may occur. Sometimes there is an increased sensitivity of a person to its components.

Persen forte is able to enhance the calming, analgesic and hypnotic effect of other drugs.

With an overdose of Persen forte and Persen, which occurs when taking more than 25 capsules of the drug or 60 tablets, weakness, abdominal pain, nausea, trembling hands, dizziness are observed. In this condition, it is necessary to observe a doctor and symptomatic treatment. Signs of an overdose are reduced after a day.
