Ointment "Baneocin" is used in the treatment of carbuncles and boils, as well as folliculitis of the scalp, pseudofurunculosis, purulent hydradenitis and paronychia. And also after surgical interventions and for the treatment of abrasions, impetigo, secondary bacterial eczema, infected varicose ulcers, it is used in skin transplantation, burns, cuts, dermatoses and in surgical cosmetology.
The drug "Baneocin" - instructions for use
Both the powder and the ointment must be applied to the affected areas of the skin, and if necessary, a bandage can be applied. Powder should be applied up to 4 times throughout the day, and ointment up to 3 times per day. If there are major lesions, that is, more than 20% of the surface of the human body, then in order to avoid active absorption of the active substance into the systemic circulation, the powder is applied only once a day.
The maximum dose of the active substance neomycin should not be more than 1 gram per week, and this is about 200 grams of powder or ointment. If there is a need for repeated use of the Baneocin preparation (powder or ointment), then its permissible maximum amount is halved.
