Biography
Dmitry Spirin is a musician who was born in Moscow on February 22, 1975. He graduated from school No. 665. Rock began to interest him already at the age of 12, and already at 14 he began to visit the Krasny Khimik recreation center in order to learn how to play the bass guitar. An extra job as a loader on the tour of the Cleopatra pop group allowed Dmitry to buy his own first instrument. And getting to know the participants of Kutuzovsky Prospekt allowed him to take the place of a bass player in a beginner rock band. The beginning of a serious career as a musician was marked by a concert of the Four Cockroaches group, held at Moscow School No. 56 at the graduation party on June 22, 1991. At the moment (since 1995) Dmitry Spirin is the vocalist and author of many hits of the “Cockroaches!” Group:
- "Bags with bones";
- "Russian rock music";
- "Two in a hundred";
- “One of us two”;
- “That which does not kill you”;
- "Five words" and others.
1999 was marked by the creation of the rock group "The Adventures of Electronics". The creators are Dmitry Spirin and Konstantin Savelsky. However, the musician did not stay in it for long - after 6 years, he leaves her composition. Despite this fact, Dmitry continues to maintain friendly relations with all members of the group and in 2008 he wrote them the song “Childhood is leaving”, which, by the way, is the only song of its own repertoire of “The Adventures of Electronics”. In 2004, street punk band Zuname was looking for a guitar player. The search was quite long, many people did not fit the criteria. But it was Dmitry Spirin, with his dedication, who was able to interest the rest of the participants and became the Zuname guitarist.
A television
On TV, our hero did not have any special debuts. Of the programs with his participation, one can single out only the weekly thrash program “Cultivator” by Vladimir Epifantsev, where he was one of the actors (1999), and the project “Earth-Air”, where he acted as an expert on Ultra radio (2002).
Radio
The most shocking was the participation of Dmitry Spirin as the leading weekly night talk show on Our Radio (2000). As the hero himself recalls, he tried to discuss the most burning topics that would force listeners to call on the radio. Moreover, he did the program so that people would not just express their opinions, but even argue with him. Thus, he turned all the anger of the audience on himself, expressing not even the most correct position, making people think and reason sensibly.
DJ Spirin
Tours in Japan in 2002 pushed Dmitry Spirin to the idea of holding rock discos. His first pseudonym was DJ Ramone, under whom he attempted to create such an event. And now Rock 'n' Roll Radio Disco Party is held regularly (since 2006). Dmitry Spirin himself considers himself a "fake" DJ. He does not mix music, unlike DJs, in the styles of techno, jungle, house and others. His whole idea was to create a set for the radio station of his dreams and share it with others.
Nickname
But his pseudonym “Sid” Dmitry acquired at the age of fifteen, being a member of the group “Kutuzovsky Prospekt”. As the musician himself recalls, he was not even asked if he liked his nickname. They just wanted it to be “like theirs”, stage pseudonyms, style. So the nickname has since been fixed. Funny things happen at all, and Dmitry Spirin is no exception. In 2011, he sang a duet with Mikhail Boyarsky, who for some reason could not correctly present his companion. Steve Dimka-Tarakan - thus, Dmitry was introduced to the public.
