So, we begin to cook. Potatoes need to be washed with a brush. If old potatoes with a rough skin are used for cooking, then it is better to peel it. When using root crops with a thin peel, it is not necessary to peel it off.
Now you need to cut the potatoes. It is better if the potatoes are small, then it can be cut into halves or quarters. Larger root crops should be cut into 6 or 8 parts.
Now prepare a mixture for coating potatoes. To do this, pour vegetable oil (ideally olive) in a bowl and mix it with spices. Curry seasoning, added to the oil, will not only add an exquisite taste to our dish, but will also contribute to the formation of a beautiful color crust.

Now put the baking tray with potatoes in the oven, the thermostat of which is set to 200 degrees. Bake the potatoes until soft and form a delicious crust. Typically, the baking time is about half an hour.

But if there is no desire to bother with the oven, you can cook this dish in a microwave oven. A rustic microwave potato recipe is practically no different from the one described above. Potatoes need to be prepared, cut into slices or circles and greased with a mixture of oil and spices. When cooking in the microwave, it is important that the slices or mugs of potatoes are the same thickness, about 2-3 mm. If you cut potatoes into large slices, then the baking time will increase. In the same way, prepare the oil mixture and dip the sliced potatoes into it. After that, the potatoes are laid out in a glass or plastic dish, cover the top of the container with cling film and put in the microwave.
