Chris Marshall is a British actor. Best known for his roles in the films Real Love and Death at a Funeral. He was also a member of the main cast of the popular sitcom My Family, the serial comedy Citizen Khan and the detective series Death in Paradise. Also successfully plays in the theater.
Childhood and youth
Chris Marshall was born on April 11, 1973 in Bath, Somerset. Chris's father served in the Royal Air Force because of which the family moved a lot, Marshall managed to live in Hong Kong and Canada. After returning to the UK he graduated from a church school and enrolled in a theater school Redruts.
Actor career
Since the late nineties, Chris Marshall began to appear in small roles on British television, but a real breakthrough in his career was one of the main roles in the popular sitcom My Family. The actor played the eldest son in the Harper family Nick, who for almost the entire time is in search of work or is interrupted by a variety of part-time jobs.
Chris Marshall was in the main cast of the sitcom from 2000 to 2003, after his departure several times appeared as a guest star. The series received negative reviews from critics, but it had excellent ratings and stayed on the air for eleven seasons, constantly getting into the ratings of the best UK sitcoms.

The actor managed not to get lost in the star cast of the picture and loudly declare himself on the big screen. Personal life
In 2012, Chris Marshall married Hannah Dodkins. The couple has two children, the family lives in the actor’s hometown - Bat. In 2008, Marshall was hit by a car in the city of Bristol and sustained moderate injuries, and in 2011 he was deprived of his license for six months for drunk driving.
