Capillary network on the legs: photo and main symptoms
As already mentioned, such a violation is associated with the expansion of small subcutaneous capillaries. Moreover, they can be easily seen on the skin - small strips of reddish or blue. By the way, they can appear not only on the legs - often a similar problem also appears on the skin of the face, in particular in the cheeks and nose. The dilated vessels may have a star-shaped or tree-like shape, but quite often they form quite large spots.
Capillary net on the legs and the causes of its occurrence
As already mentioned, in some cases, the presence of so-called spider veins on the legs indicates the development of varicose veins. Nevertheless, there are many other reasons for the appearance of the capillary network. Here are just the most common ones:

- Quite often, the expansion of capillaries is associated with a violation of the permeability of the vascular wall or its weakening.
- In addition, hormonal disorders can be attributed to the reasons . It is worth noting that quite often the capillary network on the legs appears during pregnancy or menopause. Hormonal fluctuations can also cause abortions, various diseases of the genitals, as well as the use of hormonal contraception.
- Often, vasodilation is associated with a constant strong load on the legs. The risk group includes workers in those professions that require a long stay in a standing position, for example, sellers, waiters.
- A similar problem is often encountered by people who abuse tanning beds, chemical peels and some other cosmetic procedures.
- Sometimes a stack of capillaries appears as a result of frostbite.
Capillary mesh on the legs: modern methods of treatment
There is an opinion that it is simply impossible to get rid of spider veins on the skin. Fortunately, today there is a truly effective treatment for capillary mesh on the legs. For example, sclerotherapy is most in demand. During the procedure, using a thin needle, a special substance is injected into the vessel, which glues the walls of the capillary - over the next three weeks, the mesh in this place simply disappears. In addition, the removal of dilated vessels is carried out using electric current or modern laser equipment. Each of these methods gives really noticeable results and does not take much time.
Nevertheless, the removal of the affected vessels is not able to insure against the reappearance of the capillary stack. That is why doctors recommend adhering to the rules of prevention, in particular, to wear compression underwear in the first weeks after removal, and in the future to avoid increased loads, not to abuse the tan and refuse to take hormonal drugs.
