Very soon, the famous and popular actor Alexei Serebryakov will celebrate a beautiful date - his fifty-fifth anniversary. His path to the cinema began already at the age of fourteen, when he, an excellent pupil and the best accordion player of a music school, "appeared" in a photo in the latest issue of the newspaper "Evening Moscow", and was spotted by filmmakers, unexpectedly starring himself in the main children's role of the picture " Late Berry ", which opened the screen of films with the participation of Serebryakov.
In the same year, Alexey played Dimka Saveliev in the cult Soviet television epic Eternal Call, which actually opened the way for him to the big movie. The young actor grew and grew up, and with him his roles became increasingly serious. In the 90s, Alex was very much in demand. With the onset of the 2000s, significant roles became less and less and only since 2014, when the sensational drama "Leviathan" was released, the actor confidently entered the period of his second creative birth, noting immediately several outstanding roles.

Let’s do a brief review of Serebryakov’s most prominent roles.
"Fan"
The very first significant film with the participation of Alexei Serebryakov and his real finest hour was the action movie "Fan", which was released in 1989. If up to this point the actor did not know a very wide circle of spectators, then the people who stood idle for hours at the queues at the box office of movie theaters in a picture detailing the difficult life of the domestic Bruce Lee. Indeed, after the release of the famous "Pirates of the 20th Century", in which popular karate was first shown, ten years have already passed, and the audience of the times of perestroika urgently needed a new hero, representing their contemporary, as they had fallen into the circulation of the 90s .
Serebryakov in the role of the invincible Kid is truly magnificent. At the time of filming, the actor was twenty-five, and he was in his best athletic form. By the way, Alexei Serebryakov himself never practiced karate, but his hero turned out to be so reliable that for a long time authoritative debate could be heard in the country’s gates that in fact a true legendary fighter Serebryakov, hitherto hidden by intelligence agencies, appeared in the Fan , and not some kind of a little act there.
"Tests for real men"
The next among the notable films with the participation of Serebryakov in the lead role was the 1998 detective drama Tests for Real Men. In this picture, the actor got a rather adventurous image of Aleksey Serebrov, passing through all the tests sequentially, arranged by the mother of his girlfriend, who wants a real man next to his daughter who could protect her.
The result was a film that stands out from the general mass of the cheap in all senses of the cinematic "chernukha" of the late 90s with its fullness, plot and acting. In "Tests for Real Men" love and confrontation are skillfully intertwined, and the thinking, cold-blooded and prudent hero Aleksei Serebryakov, counting every next step, has become a worthy replacement for the muscular Kid from the "Fan", who thrust through.
Gangster Petersburg 2: Lawyer
Of course, the actor Serebryakov was glorified as films with his participation, as well as series. And the best example of this was the multi-part crime drama "Gangster Petersburg 2: Lawyer", released in 2000. This film tells the story of two former friends, one of whom connected his life with the profession of an investigator, and the other was burned by Afghanistan and became the leader of a criminal group. Unfortunately, they were divided not only by life, but also by the same girl, whom they both fell in love with.
Alexei Serebryakov got the role of Oleg Zvantsev, the very “right” friend who became an investigator. And today, when almost twenty years have passed since the picture was released on the screen, it is impossible to imagine any other actor in his place, he is so good and reliable in his role. However, this remarkable authenticity is a distinctive feature of almost all the characters played by Serebryakov.
"Shtrafbat"
Another outstanding work of the actor was the role in the 2004 series “Shtrafbat”, which reveals to the audience the pages of the Great Patriotic War, not so beloved by historians, about the penal battalions, whose fighters were dead, went to break through the most impregnable front lines, and then were buried in nameless fraternal graves.
In this tragic, difficult, and sometimes cruel film, which was based on the memories of the few “fines” who survived in the infernal meat grinder, Alexei Serebryakov played the main role of Vasily Tverdokhlebov, the commander of the penalty unit going to death. And his farewell gaze, the audience is unlikely to be able to forget very soon ...
"PiraMMMida"
In 2011, Serebryakov played the main role in the crime drama "PiraMMMida", the basis of which was the autobiographical book of the famous adventurer and mathematician Sergei Mavrodi, who became the founder of the famous financial pyramid "MMM". The picture reflects well the time of the beginning of the 90s, when the Soviet Union collapsed, and new Russian statehood slowly formed in its wreckage, the planned economy gave way to market relations, and ordinary citizens walked around in circles, not understanding and afraid of what was happening.

One of such people was the hero of Aleksei Serebryakov Mamontov, who one day decided to find application for his intellect, creating an advertising campaign brilliant for his time and managing to find tens of thousands of depositors who had “bought” his mathematically verified scheme in just two weeks. A little more time will pass, and these tens of thousands of deceived people will turn into tens of millions, and a real hunt will begin for Mamontov himself and his relatives.
But was this a lone mathematician a fraud, or was he introduced as such by bankers who were afraid for their capital, and who could not compete with him? ..
"Leviathan"
In 2014, as part of the Cannes Film Festival, the premiere of a new film with the participation of Serebryakov, the social drama Leviathan, immediately became scandalous due to its theme, showing the life of the Russian hinterland without embellishment. Such as it is known to all residents of the country located on the other side of the Moscow Ring Road. In view of the uproar and attacks of domestic critics, Leviathan looked at first practically the whole world. In Russia, the picture was presented only almost a year after its official premiere.

Fans and opponents of the story told in the film were divided into approximately two camps. Some respond in enthusiastic tones about it, while others do not like Leviathan very much for overly denigrating Russian reality. One way or another, each of the viewers is able to form their own opinion about this cloudy and depressing story that happened on the dank shore of the North Sea with car mechanic Nikolai Sergeyev, whose role was played by Alexei Serebryakov, from whom the local mayor decided to seize his own house and land.
Despite the fact that “Leviathan” shows the current time, his whole environment and the actions of the characters once again remind everyone that the gangster 90s, dressed in respectable positions and today took a civilized look, are still alive.
"How Vitka Garlic brought Lech Pin to the house of the disabled"
One of the best films with Serebryakov’s participation was the amazing and touching picture of 2017 “How Vitka Garlic brought Lech Shtyr to the house of disabled people”, telling a story of fierce orphanage child Vitka Chesnok full of drama, cruelty and crime, one day confronting his father face to face -Kaleka Shtyr, an inveterate felon released from prison for health reasons. Vitka has absolutely nothing to love this man, who is completely alien to him. But Lehi Shtyr, brilliantly executed by Alexei Serebryakov, has an apartment for which he can be completely rid of by handing him over to the house of the disabled.

Father and son embark on a long journey, and from that moment the picture becomes an aesthetically perfect work, each frame of which represents a complete artistic masterpiece. But the main thing in it is not at all. The main thing is how kilometer after kilometer between these two, at first glance, strangers awaken family feelings, by the end of the film reaching an absolutely incredible climax.
"Van Gogh"
One of the last films with Serebryakov’s participation was the drama Van Gogh, which premiered just over a month ago. In this picture, the actor played Mark Ginzburg, a talented but unknown painter whose aged father is a distinguished director known throughout the world. Heroes practically hate each other and try not to even see each other, especially since they live in different parts of the globe. However, at some point, the father and son will not only have to meet, but also try to reconcile, no matter how much they oppose it.
As a result, we see an unusually deep and touching story of two creators who are desperately trying to find their happiness and themselves. The very picture, filled with black humor, psychologism and kindness, according to the audience, is a real event in the domestic cinema of recent years ...
