Meg ("Supernatural"): The Story of a Demon
The Winchester brothers continued the struggle of their suddenly missing father against demons and other dangerous creatures that harm people. When the youngest of the Winchesters, Sam, barely escaped the Azazel demon thanks to the eldest of the Dean brothers and mother who died that night, their father John vowed to find the demon and take revenge. Since the Winchester family represented a great danger, and Azazel still needed Sam, a black-eyed demon was sent to monitor the brothers. The messengers of hell can exist on Earth only having taken possession of the human body, or “meat costume” - this is the name of the demons of their unfortunate victims, in whom they inhabit.
The demon, sent by Azazel as a spy for the brothers, took possession of the body of student Meg Masters from a college in Andover. Until November 2006, evil spirits existed in the girl’s body, until they were caught by Sam and Dean. With the help of the rite of exorcism, the demon was expelled, but by that time Meg had received so many injuries (as a rule, monsters did not stand on ceremony with a “meat suit”) that she could not be saved, and she died. But since then the name of Meg has been assigned to the demon.
The first appearance in the series and the fight for Colt
Meg (“Supernatural”) first appeared before the audience in the first season in the 11 episode “Scarecrow”. By this time, the brothers are separated, and Sam, alone, continues to search for his father in California. He runs into Meg twice and even manages to talk to her at the bus station.
The girl is trying to dissuade him from the decision to return to his brother, but to no avail. After Sam leaves, Meg kills the taxi driver and, using his blood, establishes a connection with someone whom he calls his father. Given the story of the demon, it’s most likely Azazel.
The next meeting with Meg was not at all rosy. “Supernatural” is a series in which characters, especially minor ones, do not live long. In the Shadow series, the Winchesters keep tabs on Meg's suspicious and find a dangerous creature in her refuge - the dave. It turns out that this is a trap set on their father John. Azazel knows that the eldest of the Winchesters found a colt from which to kill him. It is he who is sought by the demon sent to earth. In a brawl ensued, the dave breaks free and throws Meg out of the window. In this case, the demon survives, and the body of the girl-vessel receives fatal injuries.
An enraged demon kills one of John's friends and takes his brothers' father hostage. Appearing to hunter Bobby Singer, he finds Sam and Dean there. Meg, trying to lure them out of the house, loses his vigilance and falls into a demon trap. After this, the demon is expelled from the crippled body of the girl.
The last time Meg appears in season 8 in episode 17. She dies at the hands of King Ad Crowley, fighting on the side of the Winchesters. In fact, she sacrifices herself, allowing Dean and Sam to escape.
Attitude to Winchesters
At first, Meg actively helped Azazel in search of a wonderful colt and killed many friends of the Winchester family. Gradually, her attitude towards the situation began to change. She realized that for the supreme leadership - Azazel and Crowley - the lower demons represent supplies. She no longer wanted to meekly fulfill the will of others and temporarily switched to the side of the Winchester brothers. Meg's goal was Crowley, whom she wanted to avenge the defeat of the fallen angel of Lucifer.
