Teresa Norr: mother with many children and a killer

Once Teresa Norr was an ordinary child - she lived with her mother in one of the states of the USA, went to school, talked with friends, even was fond of creativity. Everything changed in an instant. After the death of the parent, the girl was not able to recover from the shock. She became depressed, as a result of which she received a serious mental disorder. Against his background, she began to commit terrible crimes: becoming a mother of six children, a woman began to scoff and torment her own offspring, and this went on for several years.

Two daughters - Sheila and Susan - died from her torture at a very young age. Witnesses and accomplices of bullying were the sons of Teresa Norr, who, like her mother, received serious sentences and are still serving them.

How it all began

In 1961, when Teresa Cross, an ordinary American girl, was 15 years old, she became an orphan. Her mother died of heart failure. In connection with the tragedy, Teresa fell into a terrible depression and in vain wanted to find a man who could understand her, caress her.

After some time, Cross hastened to get married - for the first boyfriend she met by the name of Cliff Sanders. At the age of seventeen, the young girl gave birth to the firstborn, who gave the name Howard Clyde. The relationship between the spouses did not go so well that Teresa shot her husband. She was interrogated and in court she was able to fully justify herself - she presented evidence that the tragedy occurred as a result of self-defense. Cross was released from custody, the case was closed.

Younger children of Theresa Norr

A year after the incident, Teresa got married again. Her husband was an American Robert Norr, whose last name she "glorified" the whole world. Every year, the couple had children - Sheila, Susan, William, Robert and Teresa Mary, whom her family called Terry. In 1970, after the birth of his last daughter, Cross divorced her husband.

The girls spoke very negatively about their mother - she immediately disliked them. Always characterized by unprecedented cruelty towards them. The reason for this was the usual envy of youth and beauty of the growing heirs. Terry told the investigation that the mother daily scoffed at her daughters - extinguished bull-calf cigarettes about them, whipped them with or without.

Bullying

In 1983, a woman tried to kill her middle daughter - shot from a pistol in the chest. However, the girl managed to survive - although the bullet got stuck in the body, it did not damage the vital organs. Mother did not call a doctor, and a year later she tried to pull a foreign body from Susan's chest. But the instruments were not sterile, and the girl picked up jaundice, and after a while she completely acquired a mental disorder. Theresa told the rest of the children that their sister was obsessed with the devil, which can only be eliminated by burning her body. She ordered her sons to take Susan to the forest and perform the rite. Which they did.

After some time, it was the turn of Sheila's eldest daughter. At first Teresa made her earn a living by prostitution. And in 1985, when she discovered a sexually transmitted disease, she blamed Sheila for it - she picked it up from the client and passed it to her mother through the rim of the toilet bowl. In punishment, Teresa Norr locked the unfortunate woman in her room and no longer let her out. The girl did not have access to food and water, the youngest children were strictly forbidden to approach, feed and drink her sister. She died of dehydration and starvation.

Investigation and conclusion

Terry realized that she would be the next in the list of victims of her own mother if she did not make any attempts to protect herself and preserve her own life. One day she saw a television program, "America Is Looking for Them," which talked about criminals, the investigation, and their capture. The girl called the publisher. Terry Norr spoke in detail about what happened for several years in her house. On October 11, 1993, Teresa Norr (pictured) and the children (her sons) were taken into custody.

The woman was accused of bullying minors using torture and involving minors. At the inquiry, Teresa denied her guilt, but after learning that her sons testified against her, she confessed to all crimes. In October 1995, she was sentenced to life imprisonment, but with the opportunity to appeal in 2027.

In 2010, the United States made a documentary about Theresa Norr "Obsessed".
