In 2000, almost every child shouted with delight and joy, imitating his beloved character, piercing: "Pikachuuuuuu!"

Time magazine in 1999 awarded Pikachu second place, calling him the most beloved anime character after Hello Kitty. In 2003, Forbes Magazine awarded this sweet creature eighth place in the list of the most profitable cartoon characters. In 2003 alone, the creators of Pokemon received $ 825 million! Here it is - Pikachu!

But enough of the story. Let's already learn how to draw a Pokemon with a pencil in stages.

First step. We draw eyes and a muzzle

Draw two small ovals symmetrical to each other at a short distance. These are the future pupils of Pokemon.

Draw circles around the pupils. These are the future eyes of Pikachu. Draw circles so that the pupils are in the upper left. Paint over your eyes with a pencil.

Draw a small dash between the eyes, indicating the nose. Below, observing the symmetry, from one eye to another draw a slightly curved line. Add a U-shaped broad smile to the bottom of your mouth.

Just below the eyes, on the sides of the mouth put two ovals, slightly larger than Pikachu's eyes. This is the cheeks.

Second phase. Outline the face

How to draw a pokemon face? This is completely uncomplicated.

Circle the previously drawn details of the face, making the creature's head a little square and the right cheek plump. The figure below shows how to do this.

The third stage. Draw arms and torso

Their length is approximately half the length of the body.

The fourth stage. We draw ears and paws

With each step of our workshop, you will learn more and more about how to draw a Pokemon. At this stage, we will depict the ears and paws of the wonderful yellow Pikachu.

We draw ears and paws

At the bottom of the square body, draw two checkmarks in the form of the letter V, connecting them with the body. This will be the pokemon paws.

The ears of the mysterious animal are long and narrow, the same V-shaped and in size approximately equal to the diameter of the head. The right ear sticks out a little more than the left. At this step we need an eraser. Use it to erase the line at the junction of the head and right ear.

The fifth stage. Draw a tail

How to draw pokemon pikachu? Yes, you have practically done it! But it's too early to congratulate - the last stage of our master class remains, in which it is necessary to depict the tail of this mysterious creature!

Draw a tail

It is not simple and does not look like anyone else. Pikachu’s tail is lightning! So let's get started!

To begin, on the left, at the junction of the arm with the body, draw a three-dimensional letter L. This will be the lower part of the tail, the one that connects to the body.

Then, just to the left at an angle (as shown in the figure) behind Pikachu’s hand and head, draw a square that tapers slightly downward. This is the top of the tail.

Well that's all! Pikachu is ready! Now you can proudly draw this wonderful animal to your child. Surely no more than ten minutes were spent on this drawing! And now you’ve seen from your own experience: the question of how to draw Pokémon in stages is not as complicated as it might seem at first glance, and its solution is available to absolutely every parent!
