The Moscow Choreographic School at MGATT Gzhel was established in 2003 with the participation of the Committee for Culture of Moscow.

How to enter the Moscow Art School? It's simple enough
A child of nine to ten years old, having an elementary general education and not having contraindications from medicine (the profession of a ballet dancer requires proper health and physical condition, which is taken into account upon admission), can be accepted for training at this school. Those children who live in the city of Moscow and in the Moscow region can enter this institution. After completing three rounds of the introductory campaign (the first round - from April 1, the second round - from May 20, the third round - from June 1), having received a certain amount of ten possible points for each round, the child can go to the budget department at Moscow .

This training lasts for seven years and ten months, and as a result - upon completion of the girls and boys receive the qualification of “Ballet dancer, teacher” and a diploma of secondary vocational education in the specialty “The art of ballet”. But he will not just attend classes in dance, rhythm, and the like, besides them, the Moscow Art School holds lessons in mathematics, Russian and foreign languages, literature, physics, history, geography, that is, this is a full-fledged school education with an emphasis on choreography. Also, already holding a diploma from the Moscow Art Theater at MGATT Gzhel, you can go to the Dance Institute of the
State Academy of Slavic Culture or to graduate school at the academy.
What is the purpose of this institution
The purpose of the establishment of the Moscow Art Theater is:
- to educate and introduce youth to the musical art;
- develop creativity in the younger generation;
- to preserve and study the national traditions of dance, develop them;
- to prepare qualified professionals - ballet dancers.
Upon graduation, graduates can work as artists in the Gzhel Theater itself or in other choreographic groups, theaters.
Who teaches young talents at Moscow Art School
The team of teachers is highly qualified, consists of people who are awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, many are candidates of pedagogical sciences, associate professors, laureates of the State Prize. At the moment, the artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater is a person who is the people's artist of the USSR, laureate of state awards of the USSR, Boris Borisovich Akimov. Earlier in the institution, this post was occupied by a great man - Vladimir Mikhailovich Zakharov (1946-2013). In addition to the post of artistic director of the Moscow Art Theater at MGTT Gzhel, he was the founder, artistic director and main choreographer of MGATT Gzhel himself, director of the GASK Dance Institute. For his extensive work, Vladimir Mikhailovich became a laureate of the Moscow Government Prize, the State Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation.

To enter the choreographic school, it is necessary to collect documents such as:
- parental (or guardian) copies of documents proving their identity (passport);
- a certificate from the institution where the child receives an education - that he is a student of a school, lyceum, etc .;
- copy of the birth certificate of a child who wants to study at the Moscow Art College;
- three photos, size 3 × 4;

Other classes at the Moscow Art College
In addition, the school hosts paid classes for those wishing to study both classical and modern choreography. Groups of students aged three to twenty are recruited. In order to show what their children learned, an exemplary concert concert is held for parents at the end of the year. To get to the building of the Moscow Art Theater, which is located at ul. Mitinskaya, d. 40, in the second building, you need to arrive at the Mitino metro station (the first car from the center, three minutes from the metro).
