It is almost impossible to imagine our twenty-first century without television and series. In December 2015, a new film “Loop Nesterova” appeared on the screen. The actors involved in it will help fans of such stories to feel themselves again in the eighties.
The storyline of the series
The script of this tape was created thanks to memoirs and memories of the Brezhnev era. Its creators sought to “humanize” those party leaders who were so often shown on television, and people perceived as “talking heads”. Each of them was shown by ordinary living people having their habits, weaknesses, personal experiences, families with their own relationships. Along with prototype heroes, the series “Loop Nesterov”, actors which told a completely new story, and accommodated invented characters - the most ordinary people who were not lucky enough to get into the cruel millstones of the struggle for power.
Who's new?
The last ten years of the Soviet Union’s life have been a very difficult time both for the state as a whole and for each individual citizen. Leonid Brezhnev was no longer in full control of the country. Those who were power began to feel quite freely, who began to think about their future and the country and imagine what it would be like.
Yes, the time was rather vague. And in this difficult hour, the confrontation between the two most powerful power structures of the country begins: the KGB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The first was ruled at that time by Yuri Andropov, and the second - Nikolai Shchelokov. This brutal war involved both possible leaders and experienced security officials, as well as ordinary people, whose fate and life were decided in the millstones of the struggle for power.
Small but very important screw
In the 2015 series “Nesterov’s Loop”, Cyril Zaporizhsky played the main character, Kirill Nesterov. He is the most ordinary lieutenant of the Moscow Region police department, of which there are thousands. But suddenly Nesterov finds himself in such a situation that he catches the eye of Andropov himself, the head of the country's state security committee. With lightning speed, Cyril's life turned upside down. He was at the very center of events of national importance.
At the same time, Cyril is the object of love of two girls at once. One can bring him death, but the second he himself can destroy. Before the start of the story, this was an ordinary guy, a kind and even naive local policeman from a small suburban village. The concept of honor means a lot to him, these are not just beautiful words. Everything changed on the day when a young man with a very valuable old canvas came to Cyril. At first glance, this was a usual robbery, but later it turned out that the guy was embroiled in a showdown between serious people who were not used to joking.
The series "Loop Nesterova", actors which was so carefully selected, showed how easy it is to step on a slippery path and how then it is impossible to leave it.
Boris and others ...
One of the girls in love with Lieutenant Kirill Nesterov was Rita (actress Karina Razumovskaya). She is a typical blue stocking, works as an art critic. She has a very strong character, besides Rita is principled. The series "Nesterov's Loop", whose actors embodied historical and fictional characters on the screen, showed the heroine of Razumovskaya outwardly very similar to the heroine of Evgenia Glushenko. This is exactly what was required to create the image: the lack of cosmetics, old-fashioned clothes, even rims in the hair. And only love will help her to change herself.
The head of the OBKhSS department named Boris was played by actor Sergei Gorobchenko. He, like other actors in this picture, embodied on the screen the image of a simple person, his impressions, grief, suffering, love and pain. The actor himself remembered that time very well. Sergei was still small, so the constant attention of his relatives "spilled" on him. And this gave rise to many vivid feelings and memorable emotions in his soul. In parallel with his childishly full life in the country, there were processes that he himself speaks to the viewer after a quarter of a century.
Sergey Gorobchenko tried to show human qualities in the prevailing conditions: compassion, understanding, hard work.
What is he, Andropov?
Actor Sergei Barkovsky showed in the series CPSU Secretary General Yuri Andropov. This character is a historical person. It has been, is and will always be. In the middle and older generation, he is still associated precisely with the eighties. Absolutely everyone knew him. For the creators of the picture and the actor himself, the main task was to create an image that would exactly repeat the memory of millions of citizens of the country. It was a rather difficult idea, with which Barkovsky coped. It was difficult, because they are not similar neither in appearance, nor in psycho-emotional promises, nor in character.
The secretary general was taller than the actor, therefore, in order not to walk in heels, it was decided to create an image that would look down on everyone. It turned out more interesting than if there was a complete resemblance. Appearance features: lop-eared and protruding ears - did not copy. After all, it was not necessary to achieve portrait similarities, but to find human correspondences.
So, there is already some idea about the series. To watch or not to watch is for each viewer to decide for himself. But is it really not interesting to see the film, the script of which contained the memoirs of people who lived in those years, and to study, looking at the screen, facts that were hushed up for a long time?
