And yet, in the series you can find quite interesting facts that not everyone knows. One gets the impression that the creators of this project wanted to captivate the audience, and not present to their attention a dry squeeze from the history textbook: in the series there are moments from the personal lives of the characters, as well as some events that can be called mystical.

In those days, there were completely different ideas about governing the country and moral principles.
Perhaps the most prominent figures from the dynasty were Sofia Alekseevna and Catherine the Great. By birth they were not meant to stand at the head of the Russian throne, but they themselves managed to change their fate.
Among the male rulers, this was probably only Peter the Great. Yes, he was cynical, cruel and wayward, but he had his own goals in life. He did not seek his own enrichment, but tried to change the life of his country for the better. He was passionate about his work, did not spare himself. This cannot but cause admiration. In addition, it was Peter who was one of the few Romanovs who was a ruler not only by law. But also by nature.
