Sandwiches with pickles and sprat "Goldfish"

The most win-win option on any holiday table is sandwiches. The methods of their preparation, components and species are numerous and varied. There is no product with which it would be impossible to make a sandwich.

In our article we will share the recipe for a sandwich with sprats and pickles. They are very easy to prepare, do not require exotic products and at the same time are tasty and mouth-watering in appearance.

Products that will be required

For the preparation of sandwiches, we need such products:

  • "brick" of rye bread (the Borodinsky variety is best) - 1 large or 2 small;
  • canned sprats (depending on weight) - 1 or 2 cans;
  • pickles - about 4-5 pieces of medium size (or a can with a capacity of 800 g);
  • mayonnaise - 200 ml;
  • a bunch of parsley - medium, weighing about 50 g;
  • a few cloves of garlic;
  • vegetable oil for frying bread - 1 cup.

About 20 sandwiches by the size of a bread slice will come out of the listed set of products.

Cooking ingredients

  1. We start by frying the bread slices. Cut the bread into slices about 1 centimeter thick and fry in a pan, in well-heated vegetable oil, until crisp.
  2. Sauté the slices of bread with a clove of fresh garlic, gently or abundantly, depending on what kind of sharpness you want.
  3. Grated garlic bread slices, coat with mayonnaise on the upper side. Before that, determine in which order the sandwiches will be laid out on the dishes and which side up.
  4. Now you can fold the slices of bread with a turret, cover and leave to soak.
  5. From the canned sprats, carefully drain the oil and remove the spinal bones of the fish.

We leave the small fish as is. We deploy large ones with the back up.

  1. Cut pickles into plastics with a thickness of about 5 millimeters, obliquely.
  2. Separate small leaves and twigs from the bunch of parsley. Instead of parsley, you can use any greens you like. For example, dill, cilantro, basil, celery.

At this point, all the ingredients are prepared. Getting to the formation of sandwiches. On a slice of bread we put 1-2 plastic pickles, on a cucumber - two small fish or one large one, and decorate with parsley (or other greens) leaves.

  • In the cold. To do this, cool the sandwiches for about 2-3 hours.
  • Hot. Preheat the sandwiches in the microwave for about 1-2 minutes and put on a preheated dish so that the sandwiches remain hot longer.
