Popular American film actor Mark Pellegrino (photo presented in the article), was born on April 9, 1965 in Los Angeles, California. He began his career in 1984, playing a small role in the film "The Hunter" directed by James Whitmore.
Carier start
This was followed by a series of supporting roles in low-budget film projects, such as: “Zagnanny”, “Fatal Number”, “Big Lebowski”. In his youth, Mark Pellegrino took on any role in order to gain experience as soon as possible. And in general, he succeeded, with each new character the actor felt more and more confident. The directors noticed a diligent performer and began to trust him with more responsible roles. Mark's appearance corresponded to dramatic characters.
His first creative success, Mark Pellegrino considers the role of Paul in the series "Dexter", the extravagant and uncontrollable ex-husband of a close friend of the protagonist. Mutual hostility became the leitmotif in the relationship between Dexter and Paul, and since both actors in real life are soft, non-conflict in nature, they had to work hard to play their characters with a high degree of certainty.
First prize
In 2009, Mark Pellegrino starred in the role of the mysterious Jacob, a character from the TV series Stay Alive. The role was small, but it carried a significant mythological burden. The actor managed to create an image thanks to which the scriptwriters and the director were able to express their vision of one of the secondary and at the same time significant characters in the series. For the role of Jacob, Mark was awarded the Saturn Award in the nomination for Best Performance in a Drama Series. The award was received in 2010.
Confession
The success of Pellegrino in the role of Jacob opened the way for him to the series “Supernatural”, which started in 2005 and is still being shot. Creator Eric Kripke offered Mark the role of Lucifer, the fallen angel. The infernal character appears in the fifth season and becomes one of the central figures of action. After this role, Mark Pellegrino became a truly famous actor. Career went uphill, creative growth was evident.
In 2011, Mark Pellegrino played another secondary role, which was no less significant against the general background of the events taking place in the series “Being a Man”. A vampire character named Boston, who turned from a man into a terrible ghoul more than three hundred years ago, required a subtle psychological interpretation, and the actor brilliantly coped with a difficult task.
