Supraks for children is an antibiotic with a wide spectrum of action. The active substance of this drug is cefixime, related to cephalosporins.

"Supraks" for children is represented by two dosage forms: capsules and granules for the preparation of a suspension that is used internally. This drug has a bactericidal property.

Suprax for children disrupts the normal formation of the bacterial cell wall. It acts on gram-negative and gram-positive anaerobes and aerobes, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa. "Suprax" for children is indicated for use in bacterial infections of the respiratory tract both upper and lower (tonsillitis, bronchitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis), and infections of the biliary and urinary tract, soft tissues and skin; otitis media, endometritis, osteomyelitis, uncomplicated gonorrhea, which is caused by microorganisms sensitive to this antibiotic, with Lyme disease.
