Scabies in people is manifested by severe itching inside the skin. It intensifies in the evening and at night. Large papules and vesicles characteristic of the scab do not form immediately, initially a rash similar to hives appears. That is why people often confuse it with allergies, unaware of the existence of a harmful parasite in their body. The period when there are no symptoms at all lasts, as a rule, from several days to two weeks. However, the carrier can infect other people even at this time. Even before the diagnosis of a characteristic rash, the scab on the skin can be recognized by various subcutaneous passages of the tick, which differ in color.
Scab in children
The scab on the body in children manifests itself almost in the same way as in adults. But due to weaker immunity, it is usually accompanied by additional infections.
