Homemade ice cream

Summer, heat and the month of July take their toll - I constantly want to swim, relax and eat something chilly. It's time to make homemade ice cream, it turns out tasty and natural, without any chemistry, dyes and sweeteners.

In fact, there are a huge number of recipes, but consider the simplest and most affordable of them.

1) Creamy vanilla homemade ice cream. For cooking, you need such products: 400 ml fat cream, 4 egg yolks, 70 grams of sugar and a pack of vanillin (10 grams).

Cooking method. Combine sugar, cream and vanilla and bring to a boil. Let the mixture cool. Then beat the eggs to a strong foam and combine with cream. Pour the finished mixture for ice cream into molds and put it in the freezer for solidification. My homemade ice cream froze in about 2 hours.

You can decorate the finished sweet with berries (for example, raspberries, strawberries, strawberries, blueberries and any others), chocolate, boiled condensed milk, colored coconut flakes, or something else. It all depends on your taste and desire.

2) Chocolate ice cream with strawberries. The following ingredients will be required: 50 grams of cocoa, a bar of dark chocolate, 1 liter of milk of any fat content, 8 yolks, 250 grams of sugar or powdered sugar.

Cooking method. Combine the icing sugar and yolks and beat until smooth. Combine milk and cocoa so that there are no lumps, and put in a water bath. Then put pieces of dark chocolate in milk and bring to a boil. Then remove the milk-chocolate mixture from the heat and stir in the yolks. Allow the mass to cool, spread on the bowls and send to freeze. You can fill the whole mass in one form, and then cut into portioned pieces. Decorate the finished ice cream with strawberries and serve. Any guests will be delighted with such a dessert on hot summer days.

As you have already seen, preparing ice cream at home does not take much time, and the result is very pleasing. Especially if you have small children.

3) Homemade ice cream with cherries. Ingredients: 500 ml of fat cream (usually 30%), 200 grams of sugar, fresh or frozen cherry 200 grams.

Cooking. Whip cream and sugar until an air of tender mass. Rinse cherries (if it is fresh, if frozen, thaw). Mix whipped cream and cherries, put them in glasses and send them to the freezer for a couple of hours. It should be noted that the mixture needs to be stirred periodically so that the whole cherry is not at the bottom. Finished ice cream can be decorated with chocolate chips or any other product.

4) Banana ice cream without cream. To make this unusual dessert, you will need 200 grams of sugar, three large bananas, and 200 ml of water.

Cooking. Combine water and sugar and bring to a boil. Let cool. Mash bananas in mashed potatoes and mix with sugar syrup. Put the finished mixture in a container for freezing or any other dishes. This banana ice cream is frozen for about 3-4 hours. Then it can be safely served as a dessert. By the way, a banana can be replaced with peach or apricot, or any other berries and fruits that are easily mashed in mashed potatoes.

If you don’t want to bother with recipes, of course, you can buy ready-made ice cream in any store or cafe. Modern retail chains offer a fairly wide selection, but it is not encouraging that many types of so-called ice cream are made from vegetable fats. This means that instead of the usual cream, the manufacturer can use coconut oil or any other vegetable fat. The taste of this ice cream is not the same, nothing natural.
