Stuffed pumpkin, baked in the oven - a variety of tastes!

Today we’ll talk about such a well-known vegetable as pumpkin. It is grown, as a rule, for household needs. However, the stuffed pumpkin baked in the oven will please even the most sophisticated gourmets. Those who have never cooked it in this way will be interested in learning a few recipes. And for enlightened cooks, the information presented may also be out of place.

We will start with the simplest recipe that is ideal for supporters of vegetarian cuisine. To prepare a dish such as stuffed pumpkin, baked in the oven, you will need directly a medium-sized pumpkin itself, one glass of rice, two large apples, half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, one hundred grams of raisins, two tablespoons of sugar, no-prune prunes no more than a hundred fifty grams and fifty grams of vegetable oil.

Stuffed pumpkin in the oven is prepared as follows. First prepare the vegetable itself, namely: wash it thoroughly and cut off the top. Using a spoon, remove the seeds and pulp from the pumpkin.

Then rinse the rice and boil it until cooked. Peel the apples and cut them into quarters. Do not forget to cut seeds from them. Divide the apple quarters into slices.

After that, add cinnamon, vegetable oil, sugar, prunes, raisins and apples to the boiled rice. Thoroughly mix the resulting mass and fill it with the previously prepared pumpkin. Cover the resulting pumpkin “pot” with the top cap and place all this splendor in a preheated oven. Bake the pumpkin for two hours. After the specified time, remove the pumpkin, let it stand for a while. A pumpkin baked in the oven, the recipe of which we just presented for everyone to see, turns out to be very tasty inside and outwardly appetizing.

The following recipe will appeal to meat lovers. If you want to please your family or surprise guests with a new dish, then stuffed pumpkin, baked in the oven will be very welcome. Moreover, such a dish is not only incredibly tasty and quite satisfying, but also extremely healthy!

To prepare it, you should stock up with one medium pumpkin, chicken breast, mushrooms in an amount of two hundred and fifty grams, two potatoes and the same number of onions. You will also need one small zucchini, a pod of sweet pepper, one hundred grams of cheese, one hundred milliliters of cream, three cloves of garlic, one tablespoon of butter, one hundred and fifty grams of milk, cooking oil for cooking, as well as spices and salt to taste.

And now we go directly to the cooking process itself. Prepare the pumpkin exactly as in the first recipe. Lubricate it from the inside with butter, and then rub it with garlic. Pour some water into the pumpkin, then put in the oven for several minutes. It should become slightly soft.

While the pumpkin will languish, prepare the filling for it. Onion, potatoes, pulp of the pumpkin itself, mushrooms, zucchini, pieces of chicken meat cut into cubes and fry separately. Then combine all the ingredients together, salt, add spices, pour milk and cream - and simmer over low heat for eight to ten minutes.

Fill the pumpkin with the mixture and bake it in the oven for about twenty minutes at a temperature of 160-180 degrees. Five minutes before cooking, sprinkle the contents of the pumpkin with grated cheese. Stuffed pumpkin baked in the oven in this way will appeal to absolutely everyone.
