Angelica Volskaya conquered television screens when she was thirty-two years old. Prior to this, the actress had no experience either in the cinema or in the theater. Just because she chose the path of an exemplary wife and housewife. How did Angelica succeed in returning to the profession with triumph and what is she doing today?
early years
Angelica Volskaya was born in a train. And it's not a joke. It's just that her parents were geologists and were constantly on the move. During one of these trips, Angelica was born. It was the year 1970.
The girl was called such a rare name not in honor of the screen heroine Michelle Mercier (in those years, movie theaters based on the books by Anne and Serge Golon "Angelica" were shown in cinemas). The mother of the future actress told her daughter that she named her in honor of another screen heroine - a certain revolutionary.
At school, Angelica Volskaya was often teased, saying, "where did she lose her king"? But the sonorous name helped make the girl a career, however, ten years late.

The first work in the cinema
Angelica Volskaya returned to the profession loudly and immediately broke all-in. In 2000, she was approved for the role of the bitchy Lida, and she began filming the series “Two Fates”. The heroine of Volsky turned out to be so colorful that, perhaps, of all the characters, you remember her alone for a long time after watching the film.
“Two Fates” made Volskaya popular in an instant. People began to recognize the actress in the streets. The reaction to the persona of Angelica was not always adequate: the audience sacredly believed that Volskaya’s life was just as mean as her on-screen heroines. In addition, Lida, according to the plot of “Two Fates”, turns into an alcoholic in the finale. Friends often began to offer Volskaya "to knock over a glass," although in fact the actress hates alcohol.
Soon Volskaya was admitted to the Central Theater of the Russian Army. And the directors bombarded the woman with proposals for filming. Only in the next year after the release of “Two Fates”, Volskaya starred in two films at once: “Detective without a license” and “Theater Blues”.
