History of creation
In 1989, the creative team of mimes was born, formed from a theater studio. Since 2001, the Mimigrant Theater has been a state theater. It has been led by Alexander Plyushch-Nezhinsky, artistic director and actor for many years. The troupe works in different genres.

The Mimigrants Theater is compared to the promoted Boom Theater, and not in favor of the latter: for migrants it’s cheaper and more soulful. There are regulars and fans. Adults who brought a child to a children's production are especially happy, but they themselves got involved in the action.
It is interesting to read the reviews of tired and angry adults who watched the performance “Goat” as planned by the whole team after work on Friday. Then there was the first prize of the VII Theater Festival "Palaces of St. Petersburg - for children!" (in 1998). The play "Nonsense in a Suitcase" by the jury unanimously recognized the best children's show.
In 2002, the collective performs with “The Balance Carrier” by A. Blok at the VIII International Theater Festival. For the role of Colombina, the actress of the troupe is awarded.
