Due to a rather specific sour taste, it is very problematic to use it fresh, it is especially difficult to feed children with it. And what can be prepared from delicious honeysuckle, not every housewife knows. In fact, in order for any sour berry to be tasty, it is enough to sweeten it. But it is better to do this not with sugar, but by adding something useful, such as honey or curd. If you have enough time and desire to tinker a bit in the kitchen, you can bake a pie with honeysuckle. It is prepared from shortbread, curd or yeast dough. With fillings, you can also dream up.
Cottage cheese dough with honeysuckle
You can talk about the benefits of this dish for a long time, it just has a storehouse of vitamins, and even the calcium contained in the curd. True, like all flour products, the dish turns out to be quite high-calorie, but with moderate use it will not bring much harm to the figure.
In addition to honeysuckle, you can make such a
pie with raspberries, currants or any other berry. But if it is sweeter, then it is better to pour a little less sugar into the filling. To prepare the dough, you will need a glass of flour, a bag of baking powder, 2 eggs, a quarter glass of milk, the same amount of vegetable oil and sugar, and another 150 g of cottage cheese. The filling is prepared from a glass of fresh berries, 300 g of sour cream, 100 g of sugar, 2 eggs and a bag of vanillin. To make it thicker, you can add a spoonful of starch.
For the test, the eggs are mixed with sugar and grated cottage cheese is added to them. Then they send milk, butter, baking powder, sifted flour there and knead soft dough, which is placed in the refrigerator during the preparation of the filling, not forgetting to wrap it with a film. It is kneaded from a glass of flour, eggs, half a packet of butter, 100 g of sugar and a teaspoon of baking powder is added. To fill half a pound of cottage cheese, you need 2 cups of honeysuckle, 2 eggs, 100 g of sugar, half a glass of sour cream, vanillin.
The dough is prepared by sifting dry ingredients, grinding them with soft oil and combining with an egg. Then they put it in a cold place and proceed to the filling. Cottage cheese is mixed with sour cream, sugar, vanilla and eggs, whipping the mass with a blender. Berries need to be washed and laid out on a towel to dry. The dough is distributed in a detachable form, filled with a filling and laid on top of the berries. Then the workpiece is put in the cold for half an hour and baked in the oven for about 40 minutes. Serve the honeysuckle pie with tea, cold chocolate or coffee.
